In addition to their work funding infrastructure, social, and education projects across the Americas, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) creates an astounding volume of knowledge.

Country and sector statistics, project documentation, research papers, blog posts and a quad-lingual online course catalog were all kept in completely separate data sources with no way to connect the different types of publications or the concepts within the resources. On top of the knowledge graph and a machine learning similarity search model, IDB built five distinct applications on top of the recommendation engine to get bank employees the information they need it, when they need it, where ever they are.

From a chatbot to an embedded website widget, and a structured data service to improve the SEO of bank publications, IDB reused their data and machine learning model to make their resources findable to internal and external users.
