Stardog, the leading Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform, expands Series B to $11.4 million to mature go-to-market initiatives

ARLINGTON, Va., May 6, 2020 – Stardog, the leading Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform, today announced it has expanded its Series B round to $11.4m, securing an additional $3 million from new investors Contour Venture Partners, Dcode Capital, and Presidio Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Sumitomo Corporation. The additional capital will be used to scale go-to-market operations, following the market’s increasing interest in knowledge graph technology. “Our new partners have deep knowledge in critical areas of our go-to-market,” said Kendall Clark, CEO and Founder of Stardog.

CIM address the brittle data integrations that are common amongst enterprises. An enterprise may support hundreds of applications, each with its own data model. Connecting data models across applications requires custom code to map data across these different sources. However, with a CIM template that mapping comes pre-loaded, allowing for out-of-the-box development of Knowledge Graphs.

Stardog joins Cloud Information Model (CIM) consortium developing open standards of data exchange to simplify data integration and accelerate innovation

ARLINGTON, Va., February 4, 2020 — Stardog, the leading Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform, today announced it has joined the open consortium tasked with creating the Cloud Information Model (CIM). The goal of CIM is to create a cloud-native, application-agnostic data model. This shared open data model will improve upon standard data integration practices that require custom tooling for each new application. CIM is managed by the Linux Foundation and was first announced at Dreamforce in 2019, when Salesforce donated their customer data model to the Linux Foundation.
